The East Coast Taiko Conference (ECTC) is an annual event hosted by collegiate taiko groups in the Northeast United States, where people from varying backgrounds gather to learn and share their knowledge and experiences about wadaiko, Japanese style percussion, and kumi-daiko, Japanese ensemble drumming.

This year’s theme is “Growing Stronger” because we hope to enrich participants’ knowledge of taiko and its community through the opportunity to learn the roots that lead to various taiko styles, how to improve group performances, and community building opportunities.

ECTC 2019 will be hosted by Yamatai back at Cornell University. We hope to see you all there!
