Project Ikigai is coming to Torrance!

ManMan Mui and Amy Naylor have been developing this project and performance over the last two years, collaborating online and performing across the UK & Europe, Canada & North America.
Featuring handpan, taiko, voices, songs and stories, Amy and ManMan are passionate about creating work that reflects and responds to the venue, audience, and musicians that join them. No performance is the same.
This March, they will be joined at Asano Taiko US by members of Mujō Creative, a group of incredibly talented taiko players founded by ManMan last year, as well as Shoji Kameda of kaDON and On Ensemble.
Shoji has been a huge support for Project Ikigai since its early days and helped make this show possible. His incredible musicianship and passion towards making taiko truely a community art is inspiring. We are so glad he can join us.
